Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre (SHNC) offers a quality Long Day Care service in a new, intimate, facility on the top floor of the Surry Hills Library and Community Centre. Parents and carers are welcome to submit an expression of interest form about enrolling their child or children.
Demand for this service is high and by submitting this form you will be automatically added to our waiting list.
All our children have attended Surry Hills Long Day Care, it’s just like their second home. All the staff are wonderful and kind, so warm and caring to our children.
The centre fosters such a community atmosphere that over the years our grandchildren have been attending, we have also attended the community events and Christmas parties and become friends with the other families who attend the service.
From the first day at orientation, our little girl enjoyed herself so much, she didn’t want to leave. I love how there is a program for the children each day with something new and interesting to try and learn.
